Applies knowledge of scientific research methods and academic writing in the professional activities of the field of garment industry, collects and interprets information to form judgments, adhering to the principles of culture academic integrity, scientific ethics

Manages the provision of life safety, labor protection standards at light industry enterprises and the strategy for sustainable development of ecosystems and society

Develops design and engineering documentation for products taking into account utilitarian and technical, artistic and aesthetic, hygienic, economic parameters, carries out author's control over the compliance of the product design project and facilitates the promotion of products on the market

 Demonstrates skills in professional activities using classical and innovative technologies in the design, layout, production, decoration of clothing made of fabric and non-woven materials, knitwear, fur, leather, as well as footwear, accessories and leather goods

Manages technological processes for the production of garments, leather clothing, shoes, accessories and leather haberdashery for various purposes

Effectively operates various types of modern technological equipment at light industry enterprises in accordance with safety requirements

Apply knowledge in the field of digitalization, automation of production systems in the development and manufacture of garments, leather and fur clothing, footwear, accessories and leather goods from traditional and non-traditional materials

Applies skills in management, organization and planning of assortment, quality of services and controls the quality of manufactured products of enterprises

Design, production, innovation activities aimed at creating competitive products in the light industry and fashion industry (clothing, footwear, fur and leather goods), and providing the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan with competitive products

Construction of garments:

• creating sketches of artistic and constructive solutions for light industry products based on a promising fashion trend or creative source;
• development of a confectionery card based on the selection of fabrics and applied materials according to the model sketch;
• execution of a technical drawing of the model;
• development of drawings of basic structures of light industry products using manual methods and using CAD using various design methods;
• implementation of constructive modeling of light industry products using manual and computer-aided design;
• creating types of patterns (templates) and performing their gradation, developing a table of measures using manual and computer-aided design;
• implementation of design supervision over the implementation of design solutions at each stage of production of light industry products.

Preparation and organization of technological processes at light industry enterprises:

• design of a sewing enterprise;
